Isomalt is the only sugar substitute in the world that is obtained exclusively from sugar beet. It is manufactured in a specially developed two-stage process: First, sugar (sucrose) is enzymatically converted into isomaltulose. This is then converted into isomalt by adding hydrogen. Isomalt is an odorless, white, crystalline substance containing about 5% water of crystallization. Depending on the application and requirements, isomalt is available in different variants and grain sizes. Dissolve isomalt sugar directly in the microwave or in a saucepan on the stove. Process the liquid and very hot isomalt sugar into the decoration. Attention very high risk of burns!!!
